The real reason for the cookie.org domain is so that my family and friends could have a place to post web pages and host memorable email addresses like allan@cookie.org instead of al2754@isp-dujour.net or whatever passes for an email address these days.

Accounts on the cookie.org system are for our close friends and family, by invitation.
